Tron Simpson show: “We don’t appreciate this. We don’t think it’s the right thing to do.”

Tron hosted Ed again to discuss the emails we recently discovered which appear to show Kathleen Krager deferring to Colorado College over the input of residents and even City Council members. You can listen to the audio from Ed’s segment here or the full audio of all of yesterday’s podcast here.

If this assaults your sensibilities that a City Traffic Engineer will ask Colorado College what they want to do over not just citizen opposition but City Council’s question on “What are we doing and why are we doing it?” and they don’t even refer to that, then my suggestion–and the way to change the outcome–is to simply make one phone call: call the Mayor. His number is 719-385-5900. Just call him up, leave a message, say “We don’t appreciate this. We don’t think it’s the right thing to do. Bikes or no bikes–we’re fine talking about planning. But you have to consider what citizens say. You don’t just defer to the College and decide that’s what you’re going to do.” – Ed Snyder, 12/09/18, Tron Simpson show
